KMP 128 – Der unterbrochene Kreis

Spezialfolge 1/3

25.09.2026 106 min Mauri & Nathalie

Zusammenfassung & Show Notes

»I am a myth,« Kote said easily, making an extravagant gesture. »A very special kind of myth that creates itself. The best lies about me are the ones I told.«
– The Name of the Wind, Kapitel 6: The Price of Remembering

“What if someone told you they knew a type of magic that did more than that? A magic where you sort of wrote things down, and whatever you wrote became true?” She looked down nervously, her fingers tracing patterns on the tabletop. “Then, if someone saw the writing, even if they couldn’t read it, it would be true for them. They’d think a certain thing, or act a certain way depending on what the writing said.”
– The Wise Man's Fear, Kapitel 18: Wine and Blood

Kvothe laid the paper down. »It's a cipher,« he said. [...] »How many phonetic symbols are there? Fifty?«
– The Name of the Wind, Kapitel 17: Interlude—Reverse

»By my eye I was deceived, never again…« He raised the stone and drove its needle point into his own eye. [...] »Now I see truer than before...«
– The Name of the Wind, Kapitel 27: Aion

»Then the physickers asked them which one of the three objects was round. [...] They couldn’t tell just by looking at them. They needed to touch them first.«
– The Wise Man's Fear, Kapitel 19: Being Told

»Sit and listen all, for I will sing. A story, wrought and forgotten in a time Old and gone. A story of a man. Proud Lanre, strong as the spring Steel of the sword he had at ready hand. Hear how he fought, fell, and rose again, To fall again. Under shadow falling then. Love felled him, love for native land, And love of his wife Lyra, at whose calling Some say he rose, through doors of death To speak her name as his first reborn breath.«
– The Name of the Wind, Kapitel 15: Distractions and Farewells

»I was wondering what you're doing here.« She looked up at me, her eyes shining. [...] »I was yours from the first moment you said it.«
– The Wise Man's Fear, Kapitel 148: The Right Path

»You’re a clever boy. You’d never make a thoughtless blunder. But what if you had a sword? [...] You’re entirely too clever for your own good.«
– The Name of the Wind, Kapitel 14: The Name of the Wind

»they were shapers. proud dreamers. [...] and he was the greatest of them all. iax.«
– The Wise Man's Fear, Kapitel 102: The Cthaeh

»If I give you my name you would have a terrible power over me.«
Her mouth was serious, but her smile showed itself around the corners of her eyes, in the tilt of her head.
»That is very true,« I said with equal seriousness. »But I will make you a bargain. I'll give you my name in exchange.« I leaned forward, and motioned for her to do the same.
She let go of Sovoy's hand and turned an ear toward me. With due solemnity I whispered my name in her ear. »Kvothe.«
She smelled faintly of flowers, which I guessed was a perfume, but beneath that was her own smell, like green grass, like the open road after a light spring rain. Then she leaned back into her seat and seemed to think of it for a while.
»Kvothe,« she said eventually. »It suits you. Kvothe.« Her eyes sparkled as if she held some hidden secret. She said it slowly, as if tasting it, then nodded to herself. »What does it mean?«
»It means many things,« I said in my best Taborlin the Great voice. »But you will not distract me so easily. I have paid, and now am in your power. Would you give me your name, that I might call you by it?«
She smiled and leaned forward again, I did likewise. Turning my head to the side, I felt an errant strand of her hair brush against me. »Dianne,« her warm breath was like a feather against my ear. »Dianne.«
– The Name of the Wind, Kapitel 58: Names for Beginners

»Late in the third day Rethe finished telling the ninety-ninth story to Aethe, who now held himself to be his student’s student. After Aethe finished writing, Rethe said to him, ‘There is one final story, more important than all the rest, and that one shall be known when I awake.’ But Rethe did not wake. She slept, and sleeping, died.«
– The Wise Man's Fear, Kapitel 114: His Sharp and Single Arrow

»the one who stole the moon and sparked the creation war. [...] he is shut beyond the doors of stone.«
– The Wise Man's Fear, Kapitel 102: The Cthaeh

I leaned close enough to kiss her. She smelled of selas flower, of green grass, of road dust. I felt her strain to breathe. I listened. I closed my eyes. I heard the whisper of a name.
I spoke it soft, but close enough to brush against her lips. I spoke it quiet, but near enough so that the sound of it went twining through her hair. I spoke it hard and firm and dark and sweet.
– The Wise Man's Fear, Kapitel 147: Debts

»Her mouth met mine, and she drew a long slow breath, pulling the air out of me. I felt my head grow light. Then, her lips still tight against mine, Felurian pushed her breath hard into me, filling my lungs. It was softer than silent. It tasted of honeysuckle. The ground shivered beneath me and everything was still. For an endless moment my heart ceased beating in my chest.«
– The Wise Man's Fear, Kapitel 100: The Hushed Hart

My father looked at my mother, who was leaning against his arm. “How about it, woman? Did you happen to bed down with some wandering God a dozen years ago? That might solve our little mystery.”
She smacked him, then a thoughtful look crossed her face. “Come to think of it, there was a night, about a dozen years ago, a man came to me. He tied me down with kisses and love songs. He robbed me of my virtue and stole me away.” She paused. “But he didn't have red hair. Couldn't be him.”
– The Name of the Wind, Kapitel 12: Puzzle Pieces Fitting

He gave me an odd look, then shrugged and ran a length of rope through an iron ring above our heads. 'I'll need your hands.'
I gave him a flat look. 'You don't need to worry about my running off.'
'It's to keep you from falling over if you pass out.'
I gave him a hard look. 'If I pass out you may do whatever you wish,' I said firmly. 'Until then, I will not be tied.'
– The Name of the Wind, Kapitel 41: Friend's Blood

“Into every generation a Slayer is born: one girl in all the world, a Chosen One. She alone will wield the strength and skill to fight the vampires, demons, and forces of darkness; to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their number. She is the Slayer.”
– Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Season 1, Intro-Monolog
